Founder Imad H. Bahbah immigrated from the Middle East as a child and is a living model of the American dream.

When he was 8, his passion for architecture surfaced as he loved drawing buildings in perspective while his peers were still drawing stick figures.  His first drafting class in high school sealed his fate as he fell in love with the art and science of architecture.  After college, Imad worked his way up through various firms in the local architecture circuit.  However, Imad dreamt of his own company that was driven by integrity, design excellence, and a genuine love of the craft.  To make that dream a reality, he struck out on his own in 2006 to do some house-flipping and begin building an architecture firm from the ground up.  His garage became the home of overflowing drafting tables and half-empty coffee cups during the hard days and long hours dedicated to meeting deadlines.  As his project stream grew larger, a real office location was inevitable.

Today, IHB Architects is located in Kent, Washington, and has expanded to serve clients locally, nationally, and internationally.  The unique quality of service we provide is made possible by our dedicated staff of architects and designers, who bring vital knowledge and spirit to the firm. Our culture is ingrained with a commitment to hard work, dedication, and high-caliber design.
